If the Open Arena ever gets another major patch then this game should be on everyone’s radar if you love Arena First Person Shooters. I used to run a TON of InstaGib CTF with grappling hooks on the ESK (EatSeaKittens) server and wouldnt mind having a dedicated server that was similar. Xonotic Open Arena has a pretty decent community and following its best to join some of the discord communities and find a time to play. Would we really have more maps than we'd know what to do with? I'd say 20 or so of the decided official best tournament, and another 20 for CTF, another section of race games (if people really are into this)would be feasable. Anyone else formerly a Nexuiz or Xonotic player I used to LOVE Nexuiz 2.5.2 on PC years ago, and never really enjoyed any other FPS since they never had the fast pace Nexuiz did. Bump the index by one to skip that level. ![]() Bougo Wrote: You can edit the file data/data/campaign.cfg in your data directory (in the Xonotic console (shift escape), type which data/campaign.cfg to find out where that is). It's actually giving the AI bot the right amount of inaccuracy so that they only appear to be as accurate as a human ace-shot, sothe player feels they've accomplished something after their close-shave win. The trick with setting difficulty in AI is not trying to 100% out-gun the player and make it impossible. Go out and play Quake III Arena to beat Xaero on nightmare level and then tell me otherwise. On the other hand, if your "huge step between" is in terms of difficulty, then I'll blatently point out that you're wrong. What you'd be correct on is that real players devise clever strategies and tactics which AI often lacks. Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson there should be a file called drwtsn32.log, give that file along with the engine’s build date to the developers. The number of people I've heard say that, but when I ask them it turns out they haven't actually bothered to complete all the campaigns. On Windows: Click Start->Run, and enter drwtsn32, click Ok in the next window, run Xonotic and wait for the crash. (12-18-2012, 04:40 PM)machine!
